Vegan Valentines Cake
Ingredients:

470ml Water
-
200g Red lentils (dried)

80ml Almond Milk
-
190g Apple Sauce
-
200g NUA Naturals Coconut Oil, melted
-
75g NUA Naturals Coconut Palm Sugar
-
2 tsp. NUA Naturals Vanilla Powder
-
120ml NUA Naturals Agave Nectar
-
100g NUA Naturals Cacao Powder
-
1 tsp. GF Baking Soda
-
1 1/2 tsp. GF Baking Powder
-
Pinch of Himalayan Sea Salt
-
Chocolate Sauce for decorating
Instructions:

Preheat oven to 180C. Grease two round pans with coconut oil and line with parchment.

Cook the lentils in the water, bring to boil and simmer till water is almost gone (15min).

When ready, blend cooked lentils until smooth in a food prcoessor and allow to cool for for 10mins.

Pour almond milk & apple sauce into lentil mix and blend until smooth.

Add the rest of the ingredients until smooth.

Pour batter into cake pans and bake for 20 to 25 min or until toothpick comes out clean

Take out of oven and place pans on rack to cool for 20min until flipping cakes out of pans

Cover with chocolate sauce and enjoy!
