Lemon Pancakes 

 

 

 

Ingredients:

  • 240ml Almond milk

  • 135g Flour (gluten free)

  • 1 tbsp. Lemon juice + 1 tsp. fresh zest

  • 1 tsp. NUA Naturals Vanilla Powder

  • 3-4 tsp. GF Baking powder

  • 2 tsp. NUA Naturals Coconut palm sugar

  • Pinch of salt

  • 2 tsp. Melted NUA Naturals Coconut  oil

  • Pinch of Cinnamon

  •  1 tsp freshly ground flax seeds

 

 

 

Instructions:

  • Add your dry ingredients to a bowl and stir together.

  • Add the wet ingredients – milk, oil and vanilla.  Fold well.

  • Lastly, add the flax seed and the lemon juice and zest.

  • Whip the batter as it becomes fluffy.

  • Add batter and a small splash of oil to your pan and distribute it on the pan by rolling the pan around.

  • Allow the pancake to slowly cook.

  • This makes about 4 large pancakes.

  • Serve with agave or maple syrup.
