Hemp Seed Hummus

 

 

 

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups Chickpeas, cooked (or canned)

  • 4 tbsp. NUA Naturals Hemp Seeds

  • 6 tbsp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil

  • 2 Garlic cloves

  • 4 tsp Lemon juice

  • 1 tsp Salt

  • 2 tbsp Water

  • Optional Garnish:  paprika, red pepper flakes, chopped parsley

 

 

 

 

 

Instructions:

  • Grind hemp seeds in coffee grinder (or spice grinder or pestle and mortar).

  • Put them into food processor with lemon juice, chickpeas, water, garlic, olive oil and salt.Blend until smooth.

  • To serve, put in a plate or a bowl, drizzle with some olive oil and sprinkle with paprika, red pepper flakes and chopped parsley or coriander.
