Caramel Chocolates

 

 

 

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups Medjool dates 

  • 2 tbsp. Almond butter (or any nut butter)

  • 5 tbsp. NUA Naturals Cacao Powder

  • 4 Tbsp. Maple Syrup

  • 7 tbsp. NUA Naturals Coconut Oil

  • 1/2 tsp. NUA Naturals Vanilla Powder

  • Pinch of himalayan salt

 

 

 

 

 

Instructions:

  • Soak the dates for 15 mins in warm water and drain. 

  • Blend the dates in a food processor. 

  • Add in the nut butter and pulse until well combined.

  • On a piece of parchment paper, scoop out the “date caramel” mixture with a tablespoon. You will have between 10-12 balls. 

  • Place in the freezer for 30-45 minutes to set.

  • Meanwhile mix the coconut oil, vanilla powder, salt, maple syrup and cacao powder together to form a chocolate coating. 

  • Remove the frozen caramels and dip into the chocolate mix. 

  • Place back in the freezer to set for another 15 minutes and enjoy.
