Almond Energy Bars  

 

 

 

Ingredients:

 

  • 10 Pitted Medjool dates

  • 1/2 cup Almond Butter

  • 2-3 tbsp. NUA Naturals Cacao Nibs

  • 1 cup Dessicated Coconut

  • Juice of 1 lime

 

 

 

 

 

 

Instructions:

  • Place dates in the food processor and process until broken down.

  • Next, add the almond butter. Once that is well blended, add the dessicated coconut and process.

  • Finish by adding the lime juice.

  • Once it is all well combined remove dough-like batter to a bowl, and using a spoon mix in your cacao nibs.

  • Roll the dough into a large ball and place between 2 sheets of parchment paper and using a rolling pin, roll flat until about 1/4-inch thick.

  • Place in freezer for a few hours, then carefully use a knife or cookie cutter to cut them into desired shapes.

  • Store in freezer.
